![]() ![]() I don't like the random spell selection myself. I hate the reverse situation, when randomness is the source of a victory rather than tactics or strategies that were well thought out. I think some randomness helps eleviate that. Just my two cents, but I hate pre-established tactics (especially when they work). I can imagine, it just feel ugly and incomplete, not having fire halo which is the "basic" fire sphere spell according to the hall of enchantment description. ![]() personally, i don't like only to have 3 lvl4 death spells, this really spoils the death sphere specialization. damnation and animate ruins are good canditates for beeing lvl4. some people allready complained about damnation not beeing a lvl4 spell. most powerful death sphere spells are on lvl3. ![]() The death sphere is unbalanced as well in its order of spells. 7lvl2 fire spells and only 3 lvl3 fire spells the most powerful fire spells are all on lvl2, such as fireball, massconfusion, combustion, forge blast etc. The order and rank of fire and death sphere spells is arguable. i know some fantasy TBS where you really got something special whith increased spell lvl reseraching, example here is dominions with lvl.9 spells, that really kick but and could only researched near to the end of every game. lvl4 spells are not that impressive, like they should be. Lvl4 spells really should be more powerful, i have the impression the most powerful spells are all on lvl2 and lvl3. There should be definately a tech tree, but only for specialists. ![]()
